More than 2600 students participated in The International Sign Association's Sign Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 7, with 40 participating signshops in 46 facilities. In this fourth year of this event, this is an increase from the 43 locations utilized in 2015, when more than 2200 students participated.
In 2013, the International Sign Association (ISA), working in conjunction with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), inaugurated its Sign Manufacturing Day. More than 250 vocational high-school and college students visited eight nationl sign companies to learn about career opportunities in the sign industry: manufacturing, design, sales, accounting, marketing, etc. The same year, ISA began working with three other job-oriented organizations: Association for Career & Technical Education (ACTE), National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) and SkillsUSA.
